Assessment 2: Design Thinking in Practice: Opportunity Analysis
Unit Learning Outcome 1: Gain the knowledge to describe and use the tools for design thinking, innovation, and entrepreneurship, in addition to understanding and applying an entrepreneurial mindset.
Unit Learning Outcome 2: Conduct and use design thinking methodology and apply this to new business idea generation.
Unit Learning Outcome 3: Students will learn how to differentiate between an idea and a viable opportunity, be aware of internal and external influences and know about lean start up methodology
Unit Learning Outcome 4: Students will develop the skills to present ideas to investors, and understand the types of small business opportunities available, with focus on the United Arab Emirates
